Challenge
Armcare is a web and mobile platform that runs automated tests of the condition of the arm of baseballs players, giving reports on care and personalized training to improve their performance by monitoring its status with the mobile app that connects to a hardware custom device reading the strength and velocity capability using a proprietary algorithm, customised for IOS platform. The solution provides constant recommendations to improve the performance and health of the pitcher's arm. Our dedicated team assumes the challenge of continuously improving the reports and personalizing training as the application develops, always seeking to ensure optimal performance.
Solution
Wireframes Each page identified in the sitemap had a brand new design. Carefully representing all the functional bit that the user is supposed to do. The final designs were easy to use, and modern look that makes the system feel and look right. What were the project goals? Some processes that were carried out manually and assisted by medical personnel needed to be automated. For example, the entry and recording of information about the condition of the pitcher's arm, especially the rotation, strength and launch speed. Another function for users was to be able to compare themselves with other users to measure the level where they are in. The requirements to improve the performance of the pitcher’s arm are continuous, it is necessary to adjust them more to the needs of each user according to his assessment. It is essential to make the reports more accurate to offer increasingly personalized training as the application develops to ensure optimal performance and improvements. Custom graphics and live reports were also designed to complement the experience to make it as real as possible. 3D Graphics Library A custom 3D graphics library was implemented to display the exact muscles trained by the pitcher Exams are marked as failed or pass. Daily check-in, video tours, and sales of equipment also available in the mobile app. Live Reports Live graphics display the pressure placed in the dynamometer device that is connected to the mobile app via bluetooth. The internal rotation section evaluates strength, symmetry, trend and Benchmark graphs.
