Challenge

Oakland International Airport parking was caught in a perfect storm between reduced business and personal travel during COVID, greater use of ride sharing services, and increased competition from less expensive area parking lots.

Solution

We developed a number of price promotions and used the location - adjacent to the airport - as an asset (riding in your own car is more convenient and safer during COVID). We targeted our effort at the over 100,000 people on the Oakland International Airport database, and ran an email drip campaign along with banners on the website, search and a paid social media campaign.

Results

The results of this particular campaign generated a 38% lift in business during the summer months for the airport parking.
