Helping Voss Automotive shine at ACT Expo 2019
Challenge
Exhibitor Background VOSS Automotive, Inc. is a global leader in developing tube connections for vehicle construction and mechanical engineering. They offer customized line and connection technology for the vehicle systems of tomorrow and supply solutions for the commercial vehicle, construction and agriculture equipment, and passenger car industries. The Challenge One of the first events of the year for Voss was the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2019. The industry-leading event took place in Long Beach, California and welcomed more than 3,900 clean transportation stakeholders and over 950 registered fleet operators. Elevating brand presence in the competitive automotive industry was a must for this event. And knowing that their exhibit would be seen by thousands of visitors including hundreds of competitors, Voss trusted the experts at Exponents to design, build, and deliver a quality product and experience that would begin their Spring trade show season off right. With about 2 months to deliver a final product, the challenges included a short timeframe among others. Solution
Creative planning for the exhibit space included the design and development of overarching backlit false-ceilings. The canopies stretched to the floor and simultaneously created 4 demo stations where the exhibitor could educate visitors and showcase products digitally on wall-mounted screens. And each of the exhibitor’s automotive displays were carefully placed to maximize standing and walking space as well as seating throughout the exhibit. The backlit walls and canopies created a bright and open environment where cage-style lamps hung from above, adding a special touch to the industrial theme of the booth. White vinyl flooring finished off the clean look that VOSS was hoping to achieve. To assist with budget requirements, the Exponents Project Management team ensured all mandatory service orders were placed on-time with the show contractors. This saved VOSS several hundreds of dollars in electrical and on-site labor costs. High-quality rental furniture was also provided at a low-cost.
Results
With the help of Exponents, VOSS Automotive showcased a beautiful exhibit and had an overall great trade show experience. In fact, the exhibitor reached their goal of generating nearly 100 leads. The center of attention was the miniature VOSS car display, which was shipped in from Japan just in time for the start of the event.
