Challenge

The client operates an online platform for selling used books, CDs, DVDs, and games. They approached us with an underperforming e-commerce website and a set of objectives: redesign the website, introduce new features, create an admin interface, and develop Android and iOS applications. A key task involved building a scanning tool that enabled users to sell their old books and media, with our platform offering them a competitive price. The primary challenge was to streamline the book finding process and enhance overall website navigation for customers. Additionally, we had to address the issues stemming from legacy code and a struggling existing user base.

To enhance the user experience, we undertook a comprehensive overhaul of the website. This included restructuring the entire website, introducing new features such as a home collection service, a saved basket feature, and a QR-code scanner.
