Challenge
We recently undertook an exciting project: creating a social network tailored for amateur soccer athletes. This young startup selected us as their outsourcing team to develop a sports social network where athletes could connect, form teams, challenge others, and schedule soccer matches. To fulfill the aspirations of soccer players, we implemented an advanced notification system supporting request/accept/reject functionalities. Additionally, we incorporated built-in chat and ensured multi-language support, including Arabic RTL. The startup operated within a tight budget, necessitating astute scope and priority management. This project is an MVP, encompassing the core features, as the client wished to test the concept and initiate pilot phases for further app development.
Solution
The application was developed using React Native and Node.js, with Firebase powering the chat and advanced matchmaking notifications system. Our design team meticulously created a clear and intuitive interface to ensure a seamless and enjoyable team management experience.
Results
Following the successful MVP release, we received an expansion request. This included the addition of an admin interface for app management and the integration of a workflow for special events organized by the startup team, such as tournaments.
