Challenge
The task was for a digital insurance brand to enter the metaverse engagingly. The goal was to highlight the brand's modern, digital-first approach by contrasting it with traditional insurance practices and establishing it as an industry innovator.
Solution
The world's first LAQO Insurance Museum was established on the Decentraland platform. This virtual experience turned outdated insurance practices into an interactive exhibit. Visitors could experience whimsical displays of tedious bureaucracy and long waits, guiding them toward a modern, digital alternative. The museum included a direct link to the LAQO website and an alert showing the CO2 emissions saved by choosing a digital option.
Results
As the first Decentraland activation in the CEE region, the project set a new standard for innovation in the insurance industry. It generated over 1 million local impressions and won two idejaX awards for "Best on Market" and "Best of Digital Ad Making."
