Plush+Oak, a new entrant in the luxury furniture segment of the beauty industry, launched its ergonomic beauty bed in 2020. The company aimed to boost brand awareness and promote their product among lash artists, PMU artists, estheticians, and tattoo artists who seek to provide their clients with top-notch comfort and luxury.
Solution
After examining Plush + Oak's social media strategy and target audience, we found that optimizing their presence on Instagram, TikTok, and particularly Pinterest would be beneficial. The demographic seeking decor inspiration for salons heavily rely on Pinterest, making it a prime platform for Plush + Oak. To optimize their Pinterest profile, we increased the frequency of postings, conducted thorough keyword and hashtag research, utilized high-quality product photos, and cross-linked their website to their profile.
Results
Over a period of 7 months, there has been a remarkable increase in the number of impressions and engagements, with a 1600% and 1417% increase respectively. As a result, the profile has now reached 588k monthly views. Notably, Plush+Oak's account is now ranking highly for the keywords they aim to target, such as "lash bed." This has significantly increased their visibility among the audience in the awareness stage of the sales funnel. Consequently, the majority of the pins that appear when searching for these keywords are those of Plush+Oak beauty beds. This enhanced visibility has led to a significant boost in brand awareness, and ultimately, an increase in sales. As a social media agency in Montreal, Casa Media's optimizations allowed for Pinterest to account for $55.9K in revenue during the month of March (*based on a 30/30/30 conversion window), demonstrating the high performance of this platform.
