Challenge
With the number of craft beverage makers in the Hudson Valley growing, Millbrook Winery wanted to strengthen its position as the best choice as a destination for winery tours and tastings, as well as a producer of high-quality cool climate wines available for online purchase. Additionally, the company wanted to upgrade its website, build and nurture its mailing list, and utilize public relations to promote its accolades.
Solution
Incorporating consumer research and trends, BBG&G created a digital ad campaign that utilized programmatic and retargeting tactics to drive lead generation and website traffic. The website was upgraded to improve its functionality and user experience. A marketing automation campaign, which included monthly newsletters, was implemented to segment customers, personalize marketing communications, target specific niche audiences, and increase ROI. As part of our work on website design, we also updated the look and feel of the shop.
Results
- Google SEM CTR rose over 130%, from 6.82% to 15.74%. - Facebook ads average link CTR of 3.59% and overall CTR of 7.32%. - Engagement increased as well with 140 reactions, 16 shares, and 9 comments. - Video on Facebook and Instagram received 20,323 total impressions. - Online and in-store wine sales rose substantially to offset the absence of tasting tours
