Portable PPB Animated Explainer Video
Challenge
Animotion was engaged by Portable PPB to produce an explainer video to help market their disruptive new gold exploration technology, detectORE. With the launch of their game-changing technology to the market in just a few months time, Portable PPB came to us with a brief to develop an explainer video that would demonstrate the potential of their technology, and get viewers excited about how it could positively impact their gold exploration activities.
Solution
The script for this video was developed based on well known explainer video strategies. The script starts by introducing the problem faced by gold explorers. It then details how Portable PPB’s detectORE product will help explorers conduct field sampling faster, and more efficiently, thus saving them time and money. As the video was to be targeted primarily towards gold explorers and miners on the African continent, the illustrations were developed with this in mind, and the colour palette reflects the East African environment.
Results
The explainer video sits on the homepage of the Portable PPB website, ensuring any potential customers can quickly get an understanding of the potential of the DetectORE technology in under two minutes. With the help of this video, Portable PPB was better able to communicate to their audience a relatively complex product.
