Framing Woolwich Print Fair’s ticket success with Meta Ads
Challenge
When Algebra partnered with Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, the primary objective was to boost ticket sales through Meta Ads. While the client had a strong brand presence, their historical paid media efforts lacked the strategic direction needed to maximise ticket sales. The event market is highly competitive, particularly in the arts sector, with numerous fairs and exhibitions vying for the same audiences. Our challenge was to stand out among the noise, engage with a highly targeted audience, and convert interest into ticket sales. Additionally, with a diverse demographic, it was essential to understand and segment the audience effectively. We needed to align the campaign strategy with the fair’s key goals, while also addressing the time-sensitive nature of the ticket sales cycle to maximise conversions in the lead-up to the event.
Solution
We began by developing a tailored Meta Ads strategy designed to capture the attention of art lovers and those with an interest in contemporary printmaking. Leveraging our expertise in paid social, we created highly targeted ad sets that segmented audiences based on interests, behaviours, and past interactions with the fair. We tested a variety of creative assets, including carousel ads, video content, and dynamic ads, ensuring we captured audience attention and directed them to the ticket purchase page. Throughout the campaign, we regularly refined our targeting, budgets, and creatives based on performance data, making adjustments to optimise for efficiency. Our approach centred on aligning the ad messaging with Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair’s unique selling points, while constantly refining the budget allocation and bidding strategies to drive efficient ticket sales.
