Favonius Harrods Exclusive Fragrance
Challenge
The challenge here was to produce an image to tell the story of the product's inspiration, a love story from Greek mythology. The client requested a style that would convey a sense of mystery. We had to find a way to hit that chord by not giving away the whole story and without stealing the product's thunder.
Solution
We decided to use an image depicting the love story in the background we have used this ancient etching of the scene between the two lovers, courtesy of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Other visual elements such as the composition, color palette and form were also designed to help with this initial philosophy.
Results
The series of 3 images we produced that followed the same principles generated a great volume of buzz and interest in the product not only on web also on the client's social channels.
