Challenge

Once the Veza team thoroughly scoped the Liquibase site, they found some big problems that needed to be tackled in layers. The website was built using WordPress, a stable platform. However, it wasn't ideal for major players in their business niche with advanced marketing requirements. From its unimpressive design to its messy backend, which felt like it was held together with duct tape, this made it a real challenge for the team to add new content and for users to navigate smoothly for better UX. The Veza team tackled unifying a brand's fragmented online presence. The website was previously spread across two domains (.com and .org), creating a disjointed user experience and diluting the brand's impact. With over 3,000 pages to migrate, the project demanded meticulous attention to design, content organization, and technical execution. The Veza Digital team opted for a strategic migration from WordPress to Webflow - solving the existing issues and laying a solid foundation for future growth. The goal was to create a website that was easy to navigate and optimized for the marketing team to run targeted SEO campaigns efficiently. Veza Digital set the stage for scalable, long-term success by streamlining the website's structure and enhancing its usability.

Solution

Comprehensive content mapping and IA restructuring ensured a seamless user experience, merging the .com and .org domains into a cohesive .com website. The entire website was redesigned, focusing on modern design elements and user experience. The design process was facilitated using Figma, enabling a collaborative and iterative approach to visualizing the new website. Advanced analytics tracking was integrated to empower the Liquibase team with data-driven insights, allowing for detailed performance monitoring and optimization. The website was enriched with custom JavaScript animations, leveraging libraries such as GSAP, Pixi JS, and Swiper JS to create engaging and interactive user experiences. Lottie animations were also incorporated to add a layer of sophistication and dynamism to the web design. Recognizing the need for a robust content management solution, the migration to Webflow heavily emphasized CMS capabilities, enabling the Liquibase team to update and manage website content easily. To streamline recruitment processes, integration with Greenhouse was implemented, enhancing the website's career section and providing a seamless application experience for potential candidates.

Results

It turned out that the WorkPress platform was not a solution that could benefit Liquibase in the future.
