Challenge

Greystar, one of the nation's leading property management companies, sought UpShift to help them craft a brand for a new upscale apartment building in a challenging, undeveloped part of Minneapolis.

Solution

Being one of the first new, premium apartment developments in a rough, less-desirable neighborhood meant Greystar was being a pioneer in that neighborhood. We also new the type of people who would rent in that neighborhood would march to their own drum, being "mavericks" in their careers, social circles, and life itself. That's why we named the building "Maverick"—and then gave it an industrial, individual vibe to tie into the area's warehouses and past.

Results

Maverick was one of the fast-leasing buildings in Minneapolis—and established the North Brand as a new hot spot that attracted new apartment buildings, restaurants, and art galleries. UpShift built a cohesive campaign that included social media marketing, website design, advertising, and event marketing.
