Challenge

USP, a nonprofit organization that ensures the quality, safety and benefit of medicines and foods, sought to identify viable short and long-term growth strategies beyond its core competencies. They wanted to explore and evaluate opportunities for innovation and new initiatives within the core business that help extend USP’s reach and build towards a future vision.

Solution

WHAT WE DID: Through extensive internal and external stakeholder interviews and trends analysis, we mapped key areas of interest for USP. We used these areas as the basis for concepts, which we then explored and evaluated through qualitative and quantitative research with health care practitioners. This helped us define a clear roadmap toward a bold new vision of the future for USP.

Results

Blending a deep understanding of the human experience, with the opportunity of tech, we uncovered how USP could play a broader role in better supporting healthcare practitioners on the frontlines while transforming the US healthcare system.
