Challenge

With Ripple launching their new offices in Toronto, they wanted to raise awareness of this as well as attract software engineers as potential new hires.

Solution

They hosted a live VIP event at Hotel X in Toronto on June 23rd that launched a special VIP cryptogram puzzle that event guests could try to solve. The first to solve this would win the prize of $5,000. Cryptogram puzzles would unlock each day allowing those who registered previously at the event as well as driven to the site from various mediums to attempt to solve. The first to solve all 3 puzzles would end up winning $20,000.

Results

Ripple was very pleased with the outcome of the program, event attendees were able to participate in a fun and challenging puzzle. The program attracted a total of 539 registrations. Most notably, the registrants were software engineers specializing in cryptocurrency, a list that could be used for new hires in the future.
