Health care: T.H.E. Health and Wellness Center
Challenge
We were hired to generate awareness for T.H.E. Health & Wellness Centers (a group of 10 medical clinics treating the underserved) in order to drive this notoriously reluctant target to get vaccinated. The client's goal was to deliver 1,000 COVID vaccines monthly across highly targeted zip codes. There were a number of challenges in driving traffic among this population: hourly workers who can’t take time off, finding transportation, concerns about documentation, a general distrust and aversion to vaccinations, and chronic health conditions and poor healthcare practices.
Solution
We provided English and Spanish language content in hyper local media channels including mobile, text, search, word of mouth, PR, social and community outreach. We secured local partners to post and promote the vaccination information in independent pharmacies, Laundromats, schools, on soccer fields and through religious organizations . We created incentives to motivate those who were reluctant to get vaccinated (brought in food trucks, had drawings for $50 Target gift cards, etc.) And, we used higher trust peer-to-peer messaging channels.
