Feeding an eCommerce ecosystem with success
Challenge
Larry's Market brings an abundance of choices to vegetarians. Noticing a distinct lack of outlets that celebrated a healthy, vegetable-focused lifestyle with equal strokes of convenience, Ryan Dennis decided to create a destination that would deliver a boutique experience. And so, Larry's Market was born, an entire grocery store and café chain. Larry’s Market's Shopify eCommerce store experienced an increased volume in traffic during COVID but knew that with their website become the chosen way to do business, they needed to invest in it to make it easier for their customers to shop online. Just as importantly, it had to feel like Larry’s for loyal customers who weren’t shopping in-person at the stores.
Solution
The result was a robust eCommerce ecosystem. We combined Shopify, Kayvio, and an existing email list for our eCommerce strategy to achieve this. First, Larry's Market's website was rebuilt on Shopify to vastly improve its conversion rates and SEO ranking. Then, we digitized the 67-page handwritten email list they had collected from shoppers and used it for their subscriber base. By using the Sales Channel plugin, products were into Facebook, Instagram and Google to target users and synced Larry's subscriber list with Facebook. VIP customers were served newly launched product ads and created robust email and SMS flows. The copy tapped into Larry's voice — one of an honest, authentic business owner. Just because Kayvio is automated, it doesn't have to be robotic.
