VaultCouture
Challenge
VaultCouture – Where innovation in eCommerce met a niche need When it comes to niche markets, it takes someone with first-hand knowledge in that niche to see a need and dream up a solution. That was how VaultCouture was born. Mounissa Chodieva, a business woman worth $75 million in 2012, was travelling frequently thanks to her serial entrepreneurialism. And, as a personal necessity, she dreamed up a service to help her manage her wardrobe from anywhere she might be.
Solution
The VaultCouture platform was designed, at its core, to give users a digital wardrobe where their clothing could be searchable by style, travel destination, event and more. Each article would be professionally photographed and loaded to the user’s account. Then, while traveling, if the user needed specific articles for an unexpected event (or forgot to pack something), their full wardrobe would be available. As sophisticated as the newest mobile technologies The technology was possible, so why shouldn’t valet and wardrobe services be as sophisticated as the devices we already have in our pockets? The VaultCouture app used existing tech as a springboard for its digital wardrobe services. An innovative and adaptable solution responding to new needs The basic service idea grew after adding eCommerce options, including professional stylists and custom tailoring made available right on the app. Technology used We work to balance the most advanced and cutting-edge technologies with the established technology available.
