Birmingham Wholesale Furniture is a landmark on the south side of Birmingham, Alabama. Their rich history spans 60 years of furniture sales. A lot has changed in their industry through the years, and the Internet has made the biggest impact. WordPress Web Design
Solution
In collaboration with Buxdat Designs, Huebris created this website using WordPress as the CMS (Content Management System). This means B’ham Wholesale Furniture employees can easily make changes to the website. Without any knowledge of programming, they can add new staff members to the site, add furniture showcases and furniture manufacturers. Visitor “flow” was a major consideration of this website. For most Furniture businesses, flow stops once a visitor leaves the site for the original furniture manufacturer’s page. We aimed to create an experience that kept the user on Birmingham Wholesale’s website. And with the main goal of eliciting a phone call or other contact, Huebris placed a contact call-to-action on every page. We also kept the navigation cyclical in nature. Visitors can view furniture by room, and switch to viewing by manufacturer at any time. This website, like B’ham Wholesale’s physical warehouse, if fun to explore.
