AbilityFirst
Challenge
AbilityFirst (originally the Crippled Children’s Society) is a top provider of recreational and employment programs for people with developmental and physical disabilities. They turned to us to bring a return on investment at their fundraising events. Good Citizen does that by providing clear and inspirational messaging with high quality media production that is both timeless and affordable.
Solution
Sizzling Videos, Moving Pictures And Stories, Stories, Stories. For the annual Stroll & Roll in the Universal Backlot, we deployed three cinematographers and a sound recordist to interview the celebrities and the racers (English and Spanish). We wrote the video’s script and developed the fun language Support-Ability, Love-ability, Cap-Abilities which brought the entire campaign together. In the editing room we used cutting edge motion graphics and hot-shot editing to make this promotional event video pop off the screen. For the upscale and chic Festival of the Fall we sent a small Special Event-Media Team that included one camera operator with a duzi glider, a sound recordist and a still shooter. Throughout the event we interviewed happy clients and supporters who gave priceless video testimonials and told their compelling stories on camera. We cut together a sizzling promo that reaches way beyond their donor base. The results are this stunning video. We document several Special Events and Various Programs throughout the year, taking literally thousands of unique “branded” photographs that AbilityFirst uses on all their collateral including Annual Reports, Magazines, Brochures, Posters and Online.
