EagleView’s latest software - TreeRis
Challenge
EagleView New Tech, New Trees, New Ideas EagleView’s latest software, TreeRisk, is designed specifically to determine vegetation encroachments and identify locations of greatest risk along utility corridors. To reach their audience of vegetation managers, we wanted to create pieces that were meaningful and personal.
Solution
We researched the plant life in each region of the U.S. where our audience worked, and selected saplings native to their area. We created personalized messaging for each region with directions for planting the small trees and an introduction to TreeRisk with a call to action. We designed and created packaging for both the tree and for the mailing tube, and distributed the trees to EagleView’s precisely targeted audience. The second piece, delivered to the same audience, expounded upon TreeRisk’s features in the form of a regional ‘Map Book’. The Map Book was a combination of regular paper with product information and a case study, and printed acetate pages layered on top of a region-specific photo. The clear layered pages each highlighted different data sets accessible with TreeRisk, so when one layer or two were resting on the photo, new data was added or taken away. This piece made the benefits of TreeRisk tangible, showing how the software creates a different, more detailed view of potential vegetation encroachments within vegetation managers’ exact regions.
