Challenge
CAE needed a website to demonstrate the work they do within the ICT sector. Having worked with over 140 colleges and universities on a wide range of IT Projects they wanted a site to showcase their work with a dedicated case study, events and news page purpley for the education sector. A whole website redesign was in the pipeline, however there was immediate need for the education section.
Solution
THE GEEKS APPROACH With a whole new website pipelined, we wanted to make sure our solution was future proofed. It didn’t make sense to build the new education site in a style and format planned for an upgrade. We created a second WordPress install within CAE’s hosting, essentially creating a “micro site” allowing us to build an entirely new education WordPress website within the current site. As its own WordPress install it allowed us to build and style a whole new site with the modern look and feel CAE required, while keeping it integrated with CAE’s main site.
Results
A stunning WordPress website dedicated to their education offering. Mobile responsive with slick education specific case studies, events and news section. We used existing artwork and animated it to create some striking visuals with the modern look and feel they wanted. We delivered CAE a future proofed website for their ICT clients, integrated within the current site and ready to slot into the new site redevelopment.
