Challenge
The first time I was contacted to work on the layout and design of the American Football Association Annual Induction Dinner Program, all we had was a PDF of the previous booklet that was challenging to edit and update.
Solution
I created an entire new template file with InDesign, which is much easier to edit and update, and prepare final files for printing. As part of the layout and design tasks, I edit ads provided to fit their purchased space. I organize and adjust content for fit and flow. I select and edit filler graphics. I also provide printing quotes for the program books, names badges, and event tickets. And then I manage the printing with the vendor and review the final products for accuracy and quality before customer delivery.
