The Challenge Big Ass Fans engineers and designs innovative industrial, commercial, and residential fans for consumers across the globe. Big Ass Fans contacted DBS to design a new website that would generate more leads and sales, capitalize on a growing international market, and capture their larger-than-life philosophy: If it’s not bolder and better, it’s not Big Ass.

Services implemented Magento Integration, Salesforce integration, Pardot Integration, Social Integration, Multilingual, Web Design, WordPress, SEO, Email Marketing The Solution DBS launched the new bigassfans.com in February 2014. The website provides a central hub for all Big Ass Fans audiences and products. Full-screen product imagery and large headlines make for a big and bold design. The site features a wealth of custom programming, including an interactive product selector and a custom social media scrolling feed. Central to the site was the “Big Ass Light Savings Calculator,” an interactive feature that estimated the energy and maintenance savings a company could expect by switching to lights from Big Ass Fans. In addition, the site features several features that help it reach an international audience. The website offers translation into Spanish and Simplified Chinese to better serve their multilingual audience. Additionally, the site offers e-commerce purchases in multiple currencies.
Results
Big Ass Fans’ website started driving more business for the company from day one. Visitors to the site started spending more time on the site and became more likely to reach out to a Big Ass Fans representative. It was a big win for a Big company. Within 6 months: 177.8% increase in leads generated through the website 52% increase in time spent on site 21.1% increase in total page views
