Challenge

ThinCats is an alternative finance lender providing business loans to SMEs through investments from institutional and retail investors. Cicero/AMO was appointed to produce a short documentary demonstrating the journey of how its client, the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), has exceeded its ambitions having received funding support from ThinCats.

Solution

Cicero/AMO storyboarded key moments in ACM’s journey and interviewed key spokespeople throughout the academy to tell their personal account of the organisation’s success. We interviewed their CEO, key mentors and students, edited into a three-minute style documentary featuring music from students studying at the academy.

Results

The film received praise from existing ThinCats clients and prospective clients at a video launch event. It was released across owned ThinCats channels and was syndicated into shorter edits for release on social media, with promotional activity directly leading to new business enquiries for the client. Cicero/AMO has been asked to regularly showcase ThinCats’ clients through a series of similar short documentaries.
