Challenge

The North Coast Food Trail (NCFT), a self-guided tour of culinary and experiential destinations, needed marketing support for its launch. As the first of its kind in Oregon, the NCFT looked to us for ground-up branding, including a website, the establishment of a distinct “look and feel” and clear, evocative messaging that explained the concept to visitors and encouraged buy-in from stakeholders.

Solution

Design for this initiative had to emphasize appetite appeal while conveying the authentic and adventurous spirit of the region. The website we created immerses visitors in the journey, with features like an interactive map, which lets users search for different types of experiences based on their preferences. And our role went beyond providing creative: we were strategic advisors, working with the client and partners to create effective collateral during the critical launch period.

Results

Our work included a social ad campaign, which reached 350,000 people in key tourist regions and increased the brand’s following three-fold. The result of our efforts is early success, feeding into a promising future for the Food Trail.
