TouchUpDirect’s main goals were to increase open graph traffic, keyword rankings to ultimately boost revenue and total transactions.
Solution
Add3 gave a fresh start to TouchUpDirect with an in-depth SEO strategy. By using content as a vehicle for keyword-focused and internal linking opportunities, they increased rank and attempted to gain position 0. The team began with a technical site audit while optimizing existing content and creating new for launch. This allowed for a review of the competitive landscape to find keywords that fit and build new sections of the site that sit high in the navigational hierarchy. The ‘Explore TUD’ section is a result of this review, housing all new pages that explore head terms such as ‘basecoat’ and ‘paint pen’. Additionally, the team launched a tracked keywords project. They collected the original set of keywords and built a hyper-focus on two of them. In the beginning, none of the terms ranked at the #1 spot and twelve landed on page one. By the end of the year, all key terms ranked on page one.
