Great American Cookies was launching their direct to consumer business. We designed and built a fully customized WooCommerce site, connecting systems for a seamless experience from customer to factory to delivery.
Solution
Research & Strategy: Launching a direct to consumer go to market strategy Our go to market strategy included unique messaging to help differentiate from Great American Cookie’s franchise stores. This messaging was applied marketing and transactional emails, social media ads, paid search, and an ad-supported Amazon store. Web Design & Development: 10 Weeks from Pitch To Launch Our team launched Great American Cookie’s first direct to consumer cookie delivery platform. We developed a custom WooCommerce website and synced it with an inventory management platform that integrated directly with their cookie production facility. All in time for Christmas 2019. Web Design & Development: Expanding to a Custom WooCommerce Multisite We designed a refreshed brand system with scaling in mind. Using modular components, the experience can now be mixed and matched to tell the right story, in the right context, at the right time.
Results
The new website saw a 1200% increase in year-over-year holiday sales, underscoring the magnitude and impact of the new eCommerce solution. This led to further growth and investment in Great American Cookies’ eCommerce brand as well as plans to expand eCommerce functionality to other brand lines.
