Challenge
A proprietary technology application requires a brand identity and look and feel that will engage and intrigue customers immediately.
Solution
Xhilarate created a dynamic brand identity that scales across multiple platforms seamlessly and efficiently. We used a fashion-forward color palette and paired it with a modern, minimalist typeface that conveys a sense of style that is expected in the high-end salon industry.The circle enveloping the "O" in Salon and 360 further reinforces the 360-degree aspect of this app. Custom iconography, dynamic wireframes and an intuitive interface design simplifies the user experience. Putting hair stylists from across the nation at the fingertips of many was exciting enough on its own. Helping to build a brand that would serve as the "LinkedIn” concept in the hairstyling industry and bring this brand to life in a way that would attract potential users and give access to stylists nationwide resulted in creative solutions that had to successfully integrate the hair and digital industries, while maintaining a strong sense of style. The hair and fashion industries were our "go to" for inspiration. Understanding both industries from a retail perspective gave us the inspiration to integrate an easy, on-the-go credit card transaction that was swipeable right from the Android device. A series of 20-plus screens and multiple pathways were carefully planned and tested before launch. The overall look and feel was subtly adjusted to incorporate equities from each salon featured in the application. Additional features such as: a calculator, scheduling, credit card transactions, receipts, tasks, ticket numbers, etc... were all integrated into the interface design to create a user experience that results in brand loyalty.
