Although we work with EMAV on a range of other marketing channels, this case study focuses on the SEO strategy. Visibility was asked to help to increase the brand awareness and bring in new leads and project opportunities. Their core objectives were: Increase number of keywords ranking relating to high value services year-on-year Increase organic traffic year-on-year to key services Increase organic conversions year-on-year for key high margin projects
Solution
1.Keyword Research We began with a keyword research project to investigate the opportunities available. We searched for all different types of drone services including for specific scenarios and locations. We used techniques such as the analysis of competitor websites to discover alternative phrases. 2.URL Structure / Website Layout The team at Visibility supported the internal teams at EMAV to develop a plan for a new website. They decided to use a WordPress theme and it was our job to advise on the navigation layout, URL structure and what content should be written on each of the pages. This helped to get the website ready SEO wise from day 1 of the website launch. 3.Content Plan As well as the core content, we advised on a host of additional pages to help the website to gain that all important valuable traffic. By using the keyword research, we were able to develop a content plan which prioritised the most important pages first as to bring in the most revenue as quickly as possible.
