Challenge

Loopt relaunched at SXSW, and came to us to help market!

Solution

We planned a full two days worth of event marketing for Loopt - a geolocation-based social and commercial app. Pre-event, we reached out to 3000 people who would register to complete for prizes during SXSW. Users competed for prizes like round-trip airline tickets—but they had to work for it! Users received geo-location based alerts and deals; to win, Loopt users had to get to a certain location within a time limit. To cap things off, we brought all users at the event to one location for a party flash mob for drinks and dancing throught Austin's streets.

Results

Loopt made a splash—soon after, they were purchased for $43.4 million!
