Challenge
Over the last 10 years, Traktek has served as a full service marketing agency for this leading tour operator specializing in deluxe river cruises, small ship cruises and land adventures. Vantage was seeking to create two new sub-brands for their line of adventure travel products as well as for their new philanthropic organization supporting Veterans returning home from active duty.
Solution
Vantage Adventures was conceptualized and designed as a sub-brand to reinforce active, adventurous itineraries in exotic destinations. In addition, the Vantage Heroes brand was designed and launched with new logos, micro-sites, and an outreach to influential journalists that covered the inauguration of these two brands. LOGO DISCOVERY Traktek designed several logo explorations using traditional red, white and blue colors and icons to represent patriotism for our military veterans. WORDPRESS MICRO-SITE Due to infrastructure limitations and a tight turnaround required by the public relations agency, the Vantage Heroes microsite was designed and implemented in less than two week's time, developed using WordPress CMS and hosted on Pantheon. VANTAGE ADVENTURES BRAND The Vantage Adventures brand was conceptualized and brought to life in an effort to appeal to a younger, more adventurous audience. Branding consisted of a new logo, catalog, email marketing and website presence.
Results
Vantage received regional press coverage and continues to honor our Veterans and their families with an annual free cruise for selected heroes. In addition, the Vantage Adventures brand has attracted a younger, more adventurous audience of travelers and led to record sales volumes.
