Challenge
Although known for their uncanny and sassy brand, voice and personality, Oregano’s was struggling to find a creative agency partner to maintain their brand heritage while helping them take a new look at it and bring the brand back into the southwest market in full force.
Solution
Like any sound relationship, engaging with Bigfish was slow at first. Our agency team was on call to support existing in-store asset updates (menu, table cards, etc.) and any OOH media placements that needed refreshing (such as their famous one-liner billboards). There was no long-term contract holding our feet to the fire, simply a hard-working team continuing to prove our value. As the 2019 calendar year approached, Bigfish also created an annual media and marketing recommendation. Our multi-channel, integrated campaign recommendation was targeted towards objectives that would truly help the Oregano’s business, not just look cool. The campaigns needed to grow foot traffic to restaurant locations, attract a wider audience, and increase brand relevancy among competitors.
Results
Through research on their competitive set media placements, Bigfish has now launched the Oregano’s 2019 marketing campaign across channels in both Arizona and Colorado. With relevant and quirky creative telling the story, and the latest digital technologies measuring conversions closely for each location, we are looking forward to a strong partnership with our new friend, Oregano’s.
