When we first met with Woody’s Wing House leadership, they had just purchased the future site of their restaurant and had embarked on a large-scale renovation. The owners of Woody’s Wing House endeavored to create a new model for the classic ‘Wing Joint’. The initial challenge was developing a logo and branding that would appeal to families, sports fans and foodies hunting for the perfect fried chicken wing! They had picked their name but needed help building their visual brand including their logo, menu, marketing materials, and website. They needed to create a memorable brand that embodied their vision, and could scale. About the Client Woody’s Wing House is a Columbus, Ohio based restaurant serving up wings, burgers and more. With over 70 4K Ultra High Def TVs, the game is always on! Woody’s Wing House also has a full-service drive thru for everyday convenience items, including a wide variety of cold beer and wine. You can call ahead with your Woody’s takeout order and pick up your food along with your other drive thru items.
Solution
Creative Solutions We worked with Woody’s Wing House leadership to develop their brand identity, and then apply those design elements throughout their marketing materials and website. Putting together a strong foundation for their brand we began this process with logo development followed by a branding guide that would serve as a roadmap for all future marketing and brand materials. We applied this guide to complete their suite of marketing materials including their website, print materials, and signage. Robintek also photographed Woody’s location and food, producing a wide variety of high-quality imagery for use throughout their website and other marketing materials. Logo and Brand Identity Design Robintek developed Woody’s logo and brand identity to reflect their vision. We worked in partnership with Woody’s leadership crafting a logo featuring a playful, friendly chicken character, wood textural elements, and warm colors. We developed a branding guide noting brand colors, fonts, and logo usage. Custom Restaurant Website Design We created a warm & welcoming, modern design for the Woody’s Wing House restaurant. Woody’s is the perfect spot to catch a game with friends so we included imagery and content highlighting their incredible setup. The site features many of the branding elements for Woody’s including custom wood textures, circle design elements, and orange and yellow highlights. The website is built using WordPress, allowing for easy management and updates. Print Brand and Marketing Materials Woody’s requested several brand and marketing materials be developed by Robintek. We designed and produced print pieces including business cards, flyers, coupons, and their menu. Each piece was crafted to included targeted marketing messages and be in line with Woody’s brand for a cohesive suite of marketing materials. Exterior Building Signs We worked closely with the company producing the marquee sign, monument sign and other exterior branding signs to ensure that the brand was well represented and that all deadlines were met. Location and Food Photography Woody’s Wing House leadership wanted to showcase their restaurant and food with high quality imagery throughout their website and marketing materials. Robintek was able to do on-site food photography and as Woody’s finished their renovation, take beautiful interior and exterior photos of their location.
Results
Woody’s Wing House was thrilled with how Robintek made their vision a reality. They felt that the logo and branding really captured the spirit of their restaurant, and they loved their suite of marketing materials that allowed them to get the word out about their new restaurant. Since their website went live Woody’s leadership has enjoyed the ease of making updates using the WordPress system, allowing them to consistently keep their menus and specials up-to-date. They were thrilled to have found a local partner in Robintek who was able to meet all their needs with their branding development, print design, photography and web work.
