Challenge

Driving a User-Friendly Digital Learning Platform Solution with Social Engagement Seventh-day Adventists are a global family of Christians who hold the Bible as the ultimate authority. Their Health Division wanted to create a positive impact in the lives of their followers by developing a Learning Management System through which specially designed courses could be accessed by the adherents that enrich their lives and help them grow spiritually, physically, mentally and socially. The product design had to cater to a globally diverse target audience having ages up to 65+ with varying education levels alongside a highly scalable structure that could support a vast amount of content and user traffic.

Solution

The project kicked off with 3 days on-site discovery workshop involving our creative lead, UX Researcher and product owner from the client site. During the workshop, we evaluated the product idea, mapped out the requirements and gathered knowledge about the target audience. We created some major use cases by mapping out the user journey on paper. After the discovery session, our team of UX designers built meaningful wireframes covering all use cases. Later with client’s collaboration, we came to the finalization of the complete User Journey including easy course creation, content addition, questionnaire design and seamless course experience for the end-user. WIREFRAMING Meaningful Experience Design User-friendly LMS Platform Empowering 1000+ Individuals for Holistic Health Training Putting Social Engagement into Wellness Training Adding social engagement and gamification into the product allowed users to interact with the product and motivate them to complete their challenges. It resulted in a supportive platform where friends and family could help each other in their wellness journey. We strived to fill the product with delightful and unexpected interactions so that users become more interested in completing the courses. Building personalized experiences helped in keeping users’ motivation levels high. Building personalized experiences helps in making more users come back every day and enjoy their wellness journey. Daily Challenges for Motivation Daily challenges to keep the user motivated to complete the course. We made a complete gamified experience for this product to give a new take on the Wellness Training programs. Rewarding users with badges and points resulted in more early course completion and a better impact on their lives. Intuitive Course Creation An intuitive experience enabled the Course Authors to create new courses and update existing ones seamlessly, giving them full control over the content and when to publish it. This made the product easy to use for creators and as well as end-users.
