Lowe’s needed a highly creative agency with a strong history of getting their hands dirty. Their team had a big idea to engage trade professionals on the global stage that was never-before-seen. And when they discovered our love for building, mixed with our affinity for all things digital, they asked us if we were up to the challenge—and we never looked back.
Solution
Lowe’s wanted to show off the pure ingenuity and ability of trade professionals. So we began dreaming of an environment that would challenge the DNA of a true maker and would push the boundaries of a brand looking for ultimate reach. The concept of an escape room was born. We began thinking through puzzles, fun clues, and challenges. We crafted a narrative and told a story of a group of contractors working their way through a Lowe’s escape room using Lowe’s tools. And working with a fearless Lowe’s team, we ran wild. OUR SOLUTION We built an escape room designed to test trade professionals. We had our story and now we needed the set. Our crew found the perfect warehouse and we began building. After setting up the rooms, running electricity, and fine-tuning the puzzles, we found our talent. Mixing our cast with a couple DIY YouTubers and contractors allowed Lowe’s to leverage an impressive media reach while staying authentic to our story. Combining our crew of directors, cinematographers, switchers, editors, and audio engineers, we brought the story to life—complete with identifiable characters you can’t help but cheer for.
