Challenge

Indian River Select, LLC was founded by two native Floridians from citrus growing families in 1996. The company’s Ft. Pierce,FL based plant now makes enough juice to serve over 3,500 grocery stores and suppliers across the country. Indian River Select needed to bring in a full-service digital marketing partner that could completely re-invent their current marketing efforts. We needed to find a way to engage a newer younger audience and to sync marketing activities with in-store promotions and digital sales. This included a heavy focus on re-engaging customers on social media, creating different kinds of written and visual content, and improving coupon redemption.

Solution

Analyzing past high performing posts gave us an idea of the kinds of content that the Indian River Select audience prefers to interact with. Creating content with a heavy focus on recipes, nutrition, and different products outside of their main sellers helped to re-engage their current audience and also find opportunities to reach out to new customers. Audience segmentation and analysis also allowed us to target a younger demographic for their social media audience. Simple low-cost advertising on the brand’s Facebook and Instagram accounts gave us the opportunity to A/B test themes around imagery, messaging, audience attributes, and brand positioning for content. Our findings weren’t just able to affect how the brand presents itself on social media, but also throughout Indian River Select’s entire digital ecosystem. Now that the brand’s social channels have experienced significant growth and re-engagement from their core audience, we’re able to focus on different ways to leverage the Indian River Select brand on different digital channels. Influencer marketing with a particular focus on representatives in family and food niches can help grow Indian River Select’s audience even further and improve brand recognition across the web. Branching out into advertising on various e-commerce platforms like Instacart can also improve the brand’s digital footprint and give them even more opportunities to reach new customers.
