Website Redesign with Custom Dealer Portal
Challenge
The primary objective for this project was to provide Couristan with an updated version of their current website. Couristan expressed some major concerns regarding their core web product database location as being external to the web server and hosted on a 3rd party Microsoft SQL server. Due to this technical constraint the current website experienced frequent timeout issues along with general slowness throughout. The reason for this was because the code needs to traverse multiple locations causing massive delays in search queries and a technical bottleneck in providing current web based solutions.
Solution
A completely revamped website was created with an improved design, custom dealer portal and rug calculator.
