BMW Connect makes your on-the-go lifestyle effortless. Optimised for 2014 and newer vehicles, the app learns your preferences over time. PROJECT GOALS. Keep the car owners/users updated, provide better connectivity and control car features from the app.

Solution

SCOPE OF WORK. The project involved Graphic designers, UX-UI designers, illustrators and developers who combined their efforts to deliver a robust digital product UX Design Keeping the target audience in mind the UX design was made very simple using the KISS principle. UI Design The colors and illustrations were designed to suit the business following a component-based design system. PROJECT GOALS. Keep the car owners/users updated, provide better connectivity and control car features from the app. Ease Of Access Get User Educated Merchandise Access RESEARCH. We spoke to the BMW owners between 30-55 age group. We surveyed to learn what features or services will they like to have on-the-go for a better experience of the app. KEY TAKE AWAY. 01 No Platform Available 02 No idea about service stations 03 Need real reviews 04 Need easy to use App USER FLOW. Following the research & strategy phase, we created user stories and user flow map that depicts the journey of both the user. EXECUTION. With a detailed study, designers began to visualize the ideas and thoughts to create an experience. Many factors affected the execution, such as experience, aesthetic considerations, taste, understanding the design principles, and knowledge.

Results

The app saves your time and lets you lock or unlock your BMW and activate the climate control, anytime and anywhere. Simplified UX helps you find your car in a panic situation. A single tap can find dealers and schedule service appointments.
