Challenge

Compass Health Network came to Hub & Spoke shortly after working with another website vendor, needing a firm with knowledge and understanding of the healthcare web design field. Recently combining three brands across two states into one organization, Compass was looking for clarity and focus online with a website that could represent all of their various outpatient and treatment facilities across a wide spectrum of devices and internet speeds.

Solution

Hub & Spoke worked with Compass to develop a unified strategy for its online branding, helping provide feedback on how to best segment the brands and content online. As well, we worked with Compass to select a photographer to capture unique and original photography for use on the website, creating an authentic look at their facilities, patients and staff. With many facilities in rural and urban settings, the overall website design focused on a simple and elegant look that would translate across multiple device types, with a focus on photography. The website's information architecture was a key element of the project, focusing on how to best present each piece with the correct keywords for patients and providers. Working with Compass' internal marketing team, we developed a comprehensive website that combines the organizations nearly 50 locations and three sub-brands of Pathways Community Health, Crider Health Center and Royal Oaks Hospital into one unified online presence. The final site doesn't aim for flash, instead focusing on putting information at the finger tips of patients and clients in many rural and under-served regions. Along with the initial website, Hub & Spoke has continued working with Compass post-launch on ongoing market segment research to continually improve their website based on focus groups, accessibility audits and analytical data collection. Technology Used Compass Health Network's website features a fully responsive website design built as a custom Wordpress theme, along with enterprise level website hosting. The website boasts a robust location search, including custom Google Maps integration, along with a sortable and searchable provider listing. Post Launch Along with winning a Gold award at the 34th annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, Hub & Spoke has continued to support Compass with improving and bettering the website. From focus groups to analytic data review, we've consulted on how to ensure the website continues to be a source of easily accessible information for patients.
