Challenge

TRUE RELIGION MATCHDAY ACTIVATION OLD TRAFFORD In late 2018 Manchester United partnered up with global denim brand True Religion to create an official range of premium club denim wear. In celebration of this collaboration, True Religion wanted to host an event to provide a platform to connect fans to their brand, and a home game for 75,000 fans against Everton provided the perfect opportunity in which to do this.

Solution

We devised a bespoke pop-up shop, containing state of the art embroidery equipment to give fans the ability to customise any denim items they purchased on the day. HGA’s very own shipping container was fully branded to create an urban, on-brand pop-up event area for fans to congregate and engage with the new collaboration. To encourage social media engagement, we included selfie mirrors and GIF booths, along with a photography zone with immediate walk away photo and personalised cover. A chance to appear on the front cover of the United Review, along with a giveaway of 4,000 commemorative True Religion bandanas created a further buzz at this exclusive event.
