CHALLENGE Start at the design and development phase to understand the vision and goals for a new residential building in Ballston, Virginia. Envision a residence that strikes a balance of being above Ballston Quarter – a fresh and thriving retail and dining destination – and being a calm, sleek oasis for living well and connected.

Solution

SOLUTION Create a brand targeted to individuals that are on the cusp of a successful career, or at the finish line, who value an urban environment but without city grit. Name the building and create a brand that speaks to each individual’s desire to be an original. Create lush patterns that reflect the interior spaces for use throughout the website, stationery, collateral, social/digital, signage, and the leasing office. Create a narrative that can be brought to life via social channels and in the leasing experience.

Results

RESULTS Origin’s first move-ins have begun (April 2019) and interest in the building is strong.
