Challenge
MIGRATING 30+ SITES TO THE PANTHEON PLATFORM Mission Pharmacal Company is a privately held pharmaceutical company based in San Antonio, TX which has dedicated seven decades towards improving lives of families with high-quality products. Mission Pharmacal focuses on using the purest of ingredients to offer a wide range of innovative prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Today, the company continues to lead in therapeutic areas including women’s health, urology, pediatrics, dermatology, primary care, and long-term care. The Problems: Mission Pharmacal’s complicated infrastructure made it difficult to manage over 30 sites, including: Mission Pharmacal’s large, single codebase made it difficult to manage over 30 sites. Due to hosting environment constraints, it became difficult for Mission to manage their growing list of brand sites. Dozens of sites sitting on a single codebase contributed to issues of resource allocation and site downtime. Limits imposed by the hosting environment increased the time and technical overhead when deploying new product sites. Working with multiple vendors, site owners, and managers became a challenge as there was no ability to limit access to the codebase - it was all or none.
Solution
