Thousand Trails
Challenge
Established in 1969 with the goal of creating family-friendly destinations for outdoor enthusiasts, Thousand Trails maintains more than 80 RV resorts and campgrounds across the United States and British Columbia, Canada. Guests enjoy long- and short-term stays at clean, safe, and fun properties with resort-style amenities. Thousand Trails was launching their new Camping Pass product, a way for customers to enjoy the benefits of year-round camping at one low price. Our challenge was two-fold: Thousand Trails needed a landing page to showcase their new product and attract new customers to it. They also needed a user-friendly checkout process to help increase conversion rate. With multiple membership levels to choose from, each with their own benefits and restrictions, there was a large amount of complex information that needed to be featured in a simple and concise way.
Solution
The main focus of our design is the clear and organized presentation of the page content. We crafted and featured the content in such a way that customers are able to quickly appreciate the value of the pass and easily identify which membership option best suits their needs. The page is bright, engaging, and fully responsive. Enhanced calls to action are featured throughout the page and in a sticky footer, making it easy for the user to take the next step at any point. On top of that, the quick and simple checkout process is constructed in a way that won’t frustrate or deter customers.
Results
Thousand Trails was blown away by their new Camping Pass landing page. Not only that, but the results that followed were phenomenal. After the launch of the new page, Thousand Trails experienced a 21% increase in transactions. The page continues to maintain its status as a top performer, consistently bringing in hundreds of new members per month into the Thousand Trails community.
