A better way to get the job done Introducing Kingsway Exterminator’s Field Team Manager. A desktop GIS routing application used for team management and task tracking. Assignment The purpose of this project is to build a system for Kingsway which enables field staff organization and management. The system must be designed to support combination of mobile/desktop/cloud hardware, software, and functionality. Including but not limited to: Route Accuracy Route Creation Usability Route Scheduling/Rescheduling New/Changing GIS Data Map Interface Real-Time Operational Intelligence Comprehensive Reporting
Solution
Approach Our Agile approach was to first define customer requirements through a discovery phase where we documented all aspects of the product and the internal customer processes. Through this process we developed the information architecture and wire frames of the solution. A prototype was created to ensure we met all the client’s goals. 1. An attractive interface and experience right from the start. 2. Bold typography and colorful palette. 3. Intuitive and clean interface for a great user experience. 4. Powerful mapping capabilities powered by ESRI 5. Stylish interface with sleek animations. Powered by ESRI As proud partner of Esri, DVG integrated their powerful mapping GIS capabilities into this applications with great success for the customer.
Results
The results proved to be a great success for the customer. The final product increased productivity & greatly reduced costs. As a result, we are extending the application to expand geography covered for these contracts.
