Challenge
Devstars have worked with Sort Your Future from the inception of the platform. Helping them create a mobile-first, web-based application, using bespoke code and custom algorithms.
Solution
We helped create a slick onboarding UX for subscribers looking for jobs, as well as the companies offering the opportunities. The matching of data throughout the site is calculated using a bespoke algorithm, which matches the complex properties in a fast optimised way. Using the latest MYSQL features and version of Apache allows the platform to run very efficiently on smaller servers. This helps cut costs at the start of the project whilst offering scalability in the years ahead. Due to the sensitive nature of working with age groups from 13 to adult, our security and GDPR compliance is very tight. We also incorporate third-party platforms to help Sort Your Future engage and manage their audience with a big focus on automation. We used structured data around the site’s opportunities to push job listing to platforms like Google Jobs.
