Challenge

In celebration of the new Adidas brand, Nite Jogger, Derooted created unforgettable instagrammable moments at a classic Adidas party. At every corner, guests were met with an immersive experience that engaged their five senses, presenting the perfect insta moment.

Solution

We partnered with BigHQ to carry out the interactive elements of this event. Our ideas were to use lighting design to capture the guests’ imagination and immerse them into the environment. We built a prospective tape mural and a light painting installation – both providing unique instagrammable moments. The DJ booth was 3D mapped and 3D projected with live VJ content as well as imagery from the event and branded content. Our team of digital editors at the event managed social media activations. The guests were blown away by the creativity that captured their imagination for an unforgettable night. The notorious finger-drumming beat master, founder of Sampler Cafe & winner of AEMCON 2018’s Beat Battle and member of a Tribe Called Red, DJ Creeasian was specifically chosen as the musical stylist for this special evening bringing his classic hiphop sounds to the classic Adidas party was no coincidence. His wizardry with finger-drumming elevated the event to new heights. Minds were blown. He’s a master at building-up the dancing beat at any show he attends. As a music maker and a well-known artist of the TraditionILL Grassdancer for Tribe Called Red, on his own, he’s a force to recon with.
