Challenge

Butterfinger came to us with a challenge: Introduce new Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups in a big way (Super Bowl big) and do it with 1/10 the budget of the average big game spot.

Solution

Without a puppy or celebrity in sight, we decided to disrupt the “marriage” of chocolate and peanut butter with the fun flavor of Butterfinger.

Results

Our unconventional couple’s therapy was a success and product flew off the shelves immediately. In fact, Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups was named the #1 most effective Super Bowl commercial in 2014 by Communicus.
