When one of the largest communication app companies needed us to make sure their app worked perfectly, we delivered.
Solution
Our world-class quality assurance team does testing for iOS, and Android apps. This is a story about one of them that stands out. Testing on several different levels Kik came to us with a unique testing problem. They needed their app to be tested extensively, but not just with automated processes. They wanted QA work done along with creative feedback. So we employed our best QA engineers, and partnered them with our best creative minds to sift through the data to find not only objective bugs, but also UX issues. Unorthodox Results We ended up uncovering over 1,000 bugs/issues, and several were of major security concerns. We also found ‘experience bugs’ as we like to call them; flaws in the flow of the user’s experience.
Results
The results were an increase of 17% app usage within weeks of fixing the issues, and their drop-off rate was reduced by 4%.
