Q&A Social Network App Development
Challenge
Celadon engineers were tasked with developing a Q&A social network app designed to facilitate the swift exchange of unique experiences through interactive Q&A sessions with experts and businesses. The platform also featured a wealth of insightful posts from industry leaders. The essence of this social media platform revolved around the milestone, 'Users do the network.' Users could actively contribute by sharing their thoughts, ideas, and, most importantly, their diverse experiences across a wide range of domains - from literature and business to medicine and extreme hobbies.
Solution
To achieve our aim of creating a Q&A social network app, we utilized a formidable array of technical tools. This encompassed the use of TypeScript and NestJS for web development, AWS Amplify for flexible authentication, and Quill for text editing. We seamlessly integrated Google Cloud Platform for authentication and analytics, in addition to utilizing Facebook and Apple for authentication purposes. Our backend was constructed using Python and Django for API implementation, with Postgres as the chosen database solution. For DevOps, we harnessed AWS infrastructure in conjunction with GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runner, and Docker for streamlined deployment and maintenance.
Results
The result of this project was the successful creation and launch of a Q&A social network app that fulfilled its intended purpose with excellence. The app provided a dynamic platform for users to engage in interactive Q&A sessions with experts and businesses, facilitating the exchange of unique experiences across various domains.
